Death Trap: See the Deplorable State of a Major Bridge in Ogun State
The Odorori bridge in the Ayetoro, Yewa North area of Ogun State has been a source of discomfort to commuters plying the roads daily.
The raining season has confirmed the bridge as a terrible disaster waiting to unveil itself just as the government turns a blind eye. The marginalized people of Ayetoro have taken to Facebook to cry out for help after every other means failed.
All Progressives Congress chieftain, Ibikunle Amosun has invested millions of naira into capital products which the Ayetoro people appear to have been excluded from.
Economic and educational activities in the area are currently being hampered by the grave danger the bridge poses. A concerned social media has this to say:
"When will Ogun state or federal govt fix Odorori bridge ( that has been washed away by rain ) in Ayetoro, Yewa North.
The students of Alaye High school were sent home in the morning of Tuesday 26th of july, 2017 cos the bridge over flown its boundaries.
Can somebody come to the aid of the students and the residents of Okerori and Ayetoro ppl in general?
Are these ppl not part of Nigeria? Don't they vote? Do they offend somebody in govt and the person is looking for a way to punish them? Or what?"
