BREAKING: Billionaire kidnapper, Evans arraigned, pleads guilty

Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, has pleaded guilty to kidnapping charges brought against him by the Lagos State Government.

The billionaire kidnapper who was charged alongside five of his accomplishes pleaded guilty to a two count charge of kidnapping brought against him by the state.

Evans promptly responded that, ‘I am guilty’ when the charges were read to him.

Evans was represented by his counsel, Olukoya Ogungbeje.

TAGBO’S DEATH: DAVIDO’S MEN CONFESS

Thelast has not been heard of the controversy surrounding the death of Tagbo Umeike , friend to Nigerian pop star David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, as the other suspects who were detained by the police have given an insight into what  actually happened the night Tagbo died. Reports credited to the Lagos State Police Command had revealed that Tagbo had a night of heavy drinking and allegedly consumed about 40 shots of Tequila, a strong alcoholic beverage.  He was alleged to be in company of  his friends, including Davido, before his body was abandoned at Lagos Island General Hospital in the early hours of October 3. The news of his death was made known to the public following the outcry of Umeike’s girlfriend, Nollywood actress Caroline Danjuma, who accused Davido of abandoning his friend. Female Basketballer, Ekaterina Lisina Confirmed Holder of World's Longest Legs Record

A towering Russian model who overcame bullying to become an Olympic star, has officially set a new record for having the world’s longest women's legs.  Ekaterina Lisina, who stands at 6ft 9in, has two Guinness records to her name having also been crowned the world’s tallest model. The 29-year-old’s left leg measures 132.8 cm (52.2 in), while her right leg is 132.2 cm (52.0 in) long. She comes from a very tall family, with her brother measuring 6ft 6in, her father at 6ft 5in and her mother at 6ft 1in. Nigerian nurses, midwives to go on nationwide strike

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a strike notice to the Nigerian government. The association urged the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in the health sector to ensure a comprehensive resolution of all matters plaguing the sector. A statement on Monday by Aliyu Shehu, national publicity secretary, said such radical approach is “urgently needed to resolve issues in the health sector including administration, practice, headship, representation, benefits, and welfare of all stakeholders in the industry”. It warned that resolution of contentious issues with members of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) would open up a chain of industrial actions by other unions and associations in the health industry. NANNM said that the issues it presented to government predated those raised by NARD, which the Federal Ministries of Health and Labour ignored in spite of court judgments.
