Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwu is dead. He died Monday afternoon after battling with ‘acute diabetics foot ulcers’, CKN reports. Obi Madubogwu became popular for his role in the blockbuster ‘Battle of Musanga’ were he played the lead role. Some months ago, the actor expressed his heartfelt thanks to Nigerians who helped him out financially, physically and spiritually. He also urged them not to give up on him and but to assist him complete the final stage of his treatment which entailed flying out to a US hospital.

A 20-year old man (name withheld), who was allegedly subjected to drinking his own blood by prominent cult gang members in Kwale has been admitted to private hospital in the area. The Police Commissioner in the state, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, who confirmed the incident yesterday in Asaba, disclosed that three of the cult gang members are currently in the police net in Kwale Police Division, adding that the victim was being treated in a private hospital in the area. Zanna informed that the victim was hoodwinked by the suspects, who confessed to be members of Viking confraternity, into thick forest in Kwale where he was allegedly subjected to drinking own blood, after cutting off his thumb.
